My Mission:


Is to strategically oversee the digital product capabilities in my area, Area of Event streaming and Messaging, and ensure alignment with the organization’s overall strategy. I’m responsible for a specific area of capabilities and the teams, their inter-relationships and business value proposition.
I’m manager of the teams responsible for products such as AEH - Azure Event Hubs,Solace PubSub+, MQ, IIB (ACE), GIMR, HMG (HTTP-MQ), Avada Tool IR360 and MQCC & MQFT.


Responsibilities:
Develop the capabilities vision, strategy, goal & roadmap aligned with business priorities
Manage budget and financial follow up for the area
Manage cross team dependencies and support collaboration both within and outside area, and business partners
Support overarching capabilities prioritization in one rhythm and contribute on roadmap planning
Facilitate capacity management and resource allocation discussions across the area
Actively work for teams’ empowerment, building the needed skills, competencies, and trust for teams to take ownership of shared capabilities and cultivating agile mindset
Strive for simplification, encourage waste reduction and continuous improvement
Drive for capabilities development based on end-user, market research and data analysis, understand the business and their end-users to evolve capabilities and make right priorities for Volvo Group over its lifecycle
As line manager encourage the professional development and support career development of the team members through coaching and performance feedback

Who are you?


We are looking for you who is a natural leader that displays energy and passion for modern Integration and establishment of dynamic infrastructure layer for distributing events among decoupled applications. You ideally have solid experience from leading people in the Integration (Messaging and/or Event Streaming) domain. Today you probably have a role as Engineering Manager or similar. Adding to this you have the technical knowledge to describe and define the possibilities and benefits of event driven architecture. Lastly, you have a university degree in a relevant field as a backbone to your knowledge.


You always put the consumer in focus and are curious to understand the needs of the business to be able to provide the best fit for each business area. You always have an ear with your stakeholders and believe in the power of collaboration. Working in a global context is something that comes naturally to you.
