For the further development of Volvo Car’s online offerings - we will strengthen the Online Digital team with a Product Leader in charge of realizing our Shop and Sell experience.
What you’ll do
You have a passion for the customer and creating user experiences that are best-in-class, using a data-driven approach across the stack. This is key since you foundationally will lay out and implement the strategic direction for our online transaction engine including check out, decisioning, order management, product catalogue, pricing and payments. To be successful you will set up an awesome core team to lead a portfolio of products consisting of Engineers, UX specialists, Analysts, Scrum masters, and Program leads. Together you will develop portfolio strategy and define roadmap based on an integrated understanding of customer behavior, business direction, anticipated market trends and the possibilities of technology. You will communicate strategy and roadmap to stakeholders and your teams, getting input and buy-in.
Who you are?
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or graduate degree preferred
• Senior experience in product management for consumer digital products, preferably within e-commerce
• Expertise in and experience with consumer-facing mobile web and/or apps is highly preferred.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools
You will step into a fast-growing area that are core to the commercial success for Volvo Cars. Consequently, extensive and proven ability in eCommerce business and to drive customer behavior are key success factors.
You will take accountability, both for your own direct area of responsibility, and the success of the team. You solve problems going from the customer to how the technology works; and have an ability to quickly translate customer opportunity or need into product and technology dependencies. We see that you value designing user-centric experiences with deep empathy for the customer, specific to true consumer needs based on consumer insight and data. We also believe that you have an entrepreneurial mindset motivated by commercial success.
