Are you a Digital Product Manager passionate about the customer shopping experience online and in stores? We are now looking for a couple of Digital Product Managers. A Product Manager at H&M Group is a visionary leader who guides new product ideas from an initial concept to product launch and assures full benefit realization. Along the way, we collaborate with world class engineers and designers to maximize each product’s impact on the world. As a Product Manager, you are expected to show strong customer empathy and have a deep business understanding as well as strong appreciation for technology. You will be leading a cross competent Global product team that works to improve the H&M group’s digital experiences across different brands and different platforms.
About the Product Areas
The new product areas Inspire & Discover, Guide & Locate, and Evaluate & Decide within the Customer domain focuses on the purchase journey and create an inspiring and convenient customer journey from the first interaction with brand.com to the customer reaches the check-out. The areas will take an omni-scope, considering digital and store channels, as well as brands and regions across the H&M group.
- The aim for Inspire & Discover is to provide customers with a relevant, engaging experience from the moment they land onsite, open the app, or enter our stores using digital capabilities, inspiring our customers to continue their purchase journey while building brand strength.
- Guide & Locate focuses on the core-purchase journey, providing customers with a relevant, engaging experience. From landing onsite, opening the app, or entering our stores using digital capabilities, we guide our customers to continue convert while building brand strength.
- Evaluate & Decide focuses on the latter stage of the purchase journey. We are providing our customers with relevant experience and information to help them make a confident purchase decision on our products, increasing our conversion and reducing unnecessary returns.
About the Product Teams
Inspire & Discover – Visual Asset Creation works closely with H&M Group’s six photo studios, marketing, online sales, and other teams to enrich the customer experience with visual assets for our digital experience and marketing channels.
Guide & Locate – Store Digital Layer aims to help customers utilize our digital tools in a physical store environment. Through user research, data and our overall growth plans, this product team creates relevant experiences that bridges our physical and digital stores. The core of the team: Assortment availability, inspiration and guidance through an omni-channel experience.
Evaluate & Decide – Portfolio Brand Acceleration’s vision is to create a convenient customer experience with exceptional inspiration and guidance for all our Portfolio Brand customers and across different brands and different platforms. Focus will mainly be on improvements of Size and Fit, Product Recommendations and the Product Detail Page functionality for our brands.
Evaluate & Decide – Product Attribute Creation secures relevant product information for every encounter with our H&M Group customers, no matter the time and place, in support of a seamless experience across the globe. The team owns our Product Information Management (PIM) system, supporting the complete process of creation, enrichment, planning, and release of product information in all necessary channels to support customers to find products and make a confident purchase decision.


Job Responsibilities


As a Product Manager you are a visionary leader who guides new product ideas from an initial concept to product launch and assures full benefit realization. You will be responsible for leading a cross competent and customer centric product team that delivers exceptional business results. You will set an ambitious and clear product vision as well as communicate it effectively to collaboration partners to ensure digital vision. You will also create a product roadmap based on a deep understanding of the market, insights, and data on your customers. You are also responsible for objectives and key results and product specific KPIs once solution enters production. In addition to this, you will:
• Contribute to the end-to-end team output strategy from inception to production
• Own and maintain the backlog based on the given targets and KPIs
• Align with other Product Owners to ensure interfaces to other products
• Understand the financial impact of team and product related decisions
Things we look for
We believe you have at least 2-5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager in E-commerce sector, with outcome responsibility at growth-stage or enterprise company. You have experience leading a cross-functional development team to achieve the common mission, prioritizing work and inspiring the team to improvement. You also have an ability to influence decision makers and manage stakeholders to achieve the product mission, and to own and articulate end-to-end product requirements across product teams. You are also capable of gathering, analyzing, and understanding customer and business needs and clearly expressing the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items for team members. Furthermore, we believe you have:
• Experience leading a cross-functional team of UX designers, frontend/backend developers, product designers and data analysts
• Experience in product lifecycle management on customer focused products
• Experience executing innovative solutions which deliver business impact and great user experience
• Experience of executing innovative solutions which deliver business impact and great user experience
• Great knowledge within CRO and user experience based on user research, UX design and AB testing
• An interest in omni-channel retailing or e-commerce
• Functional knowledge of agile development and methodologies as well as product vision creation and product roadmap development
