What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a passionate Digital Product Owner for the area of integration provisioning within the cluster Integration Center of Enablement (ICoE).
The Integration Office product resides within the Integration Center of Enablement Cluster which manages a set of integration platforms, currently 8 of them, where IBM MQ, RedHat 3scale, and Apache KAFKA are the key platforms. We maintain and operate these platforms and self-service portals to enable (state of the art) integration capabilities for all applications at Volvo Cars.
You will take an active part in the transformation around how we develop integrations at Volvo Cars by developing an efficient onboarding process for the product team to become empowered to use our self-service tools for integrations without having to rely on ICoE to the work. At the same time, there is both a transitional period as well as there will always be certain teams requiring support as well as more complex integrations that cannot be managed using self-service tooling, here you will make sure we have an efficient process with high quality in our deliverables along with happy customers. And of course, have lots of fun while doing it.
What you’ll do:
Having very good knowledge around and within the field of integration and good strategic thinking is key to this role. Your main responsibilities will be:
• Own, prioritize and enable the quality of integrations we deliver to application teams and the product Kanban backlog
• Enable and support the refinement of the product’s ways of working around integration design and development so it is done in a high-quality way with efficiency; our focus is always on satisfied customers
• Own, prioritize and facilitate refinement of the onboarding and education for users of VIP. Our focus is satisfied customers that understand how to use the available tooling
• Actively collaborate with stakeholders as well as other teams
• Actively participate within ICoE as a major stakeholder in the VIP development
• Govern the quality and completeness of integration documentation within Volvo Cars
• Govern the quality and completeness of integration design conventions within Volvo Cars
• Manage our suppliers and optimize cooperation model with them
• Manage financials associated with the assigned digital product
• Proactively develop products strategically with long-term sustainability and excellent standard in focus
Who you are:
We are looking for you who have work experience in a leading position - driving digital product strategy as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent role for a minimum of 2 years. You have extensive experience with integration concepts and technology as well as integration strategies and understand the global environment in which Volvo Cars operates. You have experience and a deep understanding in the value, function, and effectiveness of processes and you are used to work with measurements and process improvements. Your dialogue with stakeholders is strong and well-articulated. You have worked with suppliers and are very comfortable with the dialogues related to both critical operations and development. You are experienced in agile development methodologies and SAFE framework, you are an agile believer and you have worked in product teams. You are data-driven in your approach to decision-making and measuring your successes. You are also fluent in English, both verbally and written.

You are flexible, open to new ideas and always looking for ways to improve, and you love to initiate and drive transformation. You are energetic, have forward-thinking and you push for innovation.
