What you’ll do
We are looking for an enthusiastic Digital Product Owner that can lead one of our Parts Supply & Logistics product teams. This product cluster delivers digital solutions that support our business customers in ensuring stable logistics flows of spare parts to our global destinations. One challenge today is the legacy system landscape where our mission is to simplify and modernize it to serve the future business demands. This is an exciting and challenging task for our teams and of course we have fun during this journey!
The product owner (PO) maximizes the value created by the product, by owning and deciding upon priorities in the digital product team’s backlog from a business perspective to streamline the execution. It is important to keep maintaining technical integrity of the features/components for the team. You are the voice of the user; you have a business perspective and technical knowhow.

You will articulate and consistently emphasize the short- and long-term vision of the product to the team and relevant stakeholders by creating a roadmap and content presentations. You will own, prioritize, decide and refine the stories in the Team Backlog including defects and enablers. Understanding the scope of the upcoming enabler work, collaborating with the team and architects to assist with decision-making, and sequencing of the key technological infrastructures is also part of your main responsibilities. Moreover, you will be:

·         Maximizing consumer value by owning and deciding upon priorities in the product backlog from a business perspective to streamline the execution, while maintaining technical integrity of the features/components for the team.
·         Ensuring the end-to-end operations of the product including transition, monitoring, reducing technical debt and problem solving.
·         Collaborating with the team and architects to ensure high quality technical solutions.
·         Coordinating projects/content dependencies with other Product Owners.
·         Collaborating with external service providers and vendors.

What you’ll bring
We believe that you have a genuine interest in software development. You have experience of IT solutions and supply chain processes, maybe within the parts supply area. You are experienced in digital product development as a Product Owner, Project manager or equivalent role. You know how to drive Digital transformations & Change Management. You have good knowledge and ability to navigate in both legacy (preferably Mainframe/ COBOL) and modern system landscape. Lastly, you have experience in transforming business requirements into development requirements.
You are an experienced leader with a problem-solving mindset and a holistic viewpoint who can inspire and motivate others in working towards a common goal. You are curious, visionary, self-propelled and ready to walk the extra mile. You are creative, open to new ideas and always looking for ways to improve. An analytical and strategic mindset and an eagerness to learn are two very important qualities to have. You are motivated and forward-thinking. We trust you to own your decisions in your field of expertise, and that you continuously develop your own skills.
You are excellent at communication, presenting and relationship building with teams and global stakeholders. You can communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
