We are thrilled to announce this exciting role within our Digitized Design Component Team where you will be able to create great value by contributing with your own innovate ideas. 3D Product Development and Digitized Design Component is the foundation to the creation of our design ideas into products our customers love! We are focusing on co-creation, from amplifying the fashion design and product development process for our creative community to creation of the foundation for innovative 3D artistry, constant learning, and research. We have expertise in fashion design, IT, 3D software, retail production, process, rendering and more.
As a Digital Product Owner within Digitized Design Component Team, you will develop and accelerate the business flows and technical solutions for digital asset creation. You and your team will work towards increasing effectiveness, enabling cross functional collaboration, and shorten our product development lead times to be able to deliver products our customers love. You will work with all our brands within the H&M group and side by side with our Design teams and our global Production organization. Our team is located in Sweden, Germany, India, and China.
What you will do
As a Digital Product Owner, you will take responsibility for a digital product with ultimate accountability for the business and customer value delivered by your product. To do this, you will lead a cross-functional, multi-competence product team in close collaboration with key stakeholders, always keeping end users and customers at the heart of our focus. You will define the strategic vision for your team and create the product roadmap based on a deep understanding of the market / industry, insights & data on your end users, and input from stakeholders across the company. Working closely with the Product Area Manager and other Product Owners to ensure overall alignment, you will set objectives & key results that your product will drive toward. You will also identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships across products, working to create a collaborative network and manage dependencies. Furthermore, you will:
Set ambitious and clear product mission and OKRs and translate these into a prioritized roadmap and team backlog that drive agreed KPIs
Apply Design Thinking methodology to enhance user satisfaction and ensure end user driven design
Lead a team of engineers to execute and deliver value through great tech solutions
Translate business and end user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for the product
Define MVP's, manage product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scope to achieve rapid feedback cycles
Monitor and manage financial impact of decisions and priorities of the product team
Who you are

You are truly a “doer”, willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to make the team move forward and deliver exceptional customer and business results. You have the ability “to get it done” at scale while at the same time ensuring a fun, inclusive and healthy environment. Your strong agile mindset makes you skilled in planning, prioritizing, executing and following up with cross functional teams. We also believe you have:
2+ years working as a Product Owner or product management related role, leading agile tech teams and implementing 3D, such as:
Computer graphics, offline and real-time as well as asset pipelines.
Software such as Substance, Clo, Marvelous Designer, 3Ds Max
Common DCC programs and 3D scripting languages such as Python
5+ years of experience from several phases of the software development lifecycle; from discovery and PoCs, to building, scaling, maintenance and operations preferable from a digital retail environment.
Experience with product management and translating needs and pains into re-usable and automated solutions
Experience from software development with integrations to platforms such as PLM applications is preferable
Experience of material scanning and digitalization and knowledge of 3D Rendering / render farm processes and render techniques such as distributed rendering, texture baking and mesh simplification is a plus
