We are currently seeking a new colleague to join us in the role as Product Owner for On-site search & WebDAM. YOU WILLAs our new Product Owner for On-site search & WebDAM, you will be part of the Global Online team with the overall purpose of driving online sales and brand awareness. The Global Online team drives the development and maintenance of the global online platform to efficiently support our growth ambitions. Strong focus is on eCommerce and to grow organically on a global scale across our categories.
In this role you will have two major focus areas, search and digital asset management:
You will lead the development and implementation of a new search service for our global websites, thule.com and caselogic.com
Define and execute the roadmap, translating business needs into clear requirements while prioritizing and managing the product backlog
Oversee the maintenance and configuration of the search engine and work closely with the sales and marketing teams to continuously optimize the online search experience.
In addition to leading the development and implementation of our new search service, you will also play a crucial role in optimizing our digital asset management practices, including:
Drive best practices to maximize tool and service potential, ensuring they meet customer needs
Maximize the value and usage of the Web DAM to increase efficiency, reach and to secure the brand value
Optimize the service to ensure that assets are uploaded and shared in an efficient manner
Implement new requirements and ensure integrations with other systems.
Training and advising stakeholders in usage of the services
YOU ARE
We are seeking a person that is well-organized and structured with a pragmatic and prestige less approach. To be a self-motivator and driver with a getting it done mentality is a given. Other important traits are a good level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and an ability to work in a flexible and quickly manner in a dynamic and developing environment. To be successful in this role you need to have couple of years of experience and proven success from managing and working with search and digital asset management. You hold a degree in informatics, or another relevant field and your experience brings a fundamental understanding of digital tools and media as well as solid hands-on experience of working with digital channels across the board. Other important parts are knowledge of product data management, taxonomy and SEO (internal). Furthermore, you are used to working in an agile environment and driving development with external vendors. Experience from eCommerce is an advantage and you need to be fluent in English, spoken and written.
