Financial Control & Accounting (FCA) is the function in Group Reporting Tax & Control (part of Group Finance) with responsibility to secure that financial performance is correctly reflected for Business Areas, Truck Divisions, Group Functions and legal entities. FCA is also a global service provider through Accounting Services with process efficient, standardized service deliveries supporting local finance. FCA employs 1400+ people in 50+ countries.


The IT & Digitalization function is responsible for the digitalization strategy and IT investment within Financial Control & Accounting. We are now hiring a Digital Solution Manager to further strengthen our team and accelerate the digital transformation of Financial Control & Accounting.
We expect finance to change significantly over the coming years, towards fully automated and touchless processes and advanced analytics based on real-time data. As a team and in close cooperation with colleagues in other organization, we are making it happen.
As Digital Solution Manager, you will drive digitalization of the operations and processes in Financial Control & Accounting. You will be part of developing our strategy towards ambitious short- and long-term targets and lead key-initiatives to realize the strategy. This includes the iterative process of proactively identifying current and upcoming requirements, benchmarking to know the best practice, planning, execution and evaluation. It also involves leading the work towards well informed make or buy decisions and procurement of vendor solutions.
We expect the right candidate to have experience from leading digitalization projects and a broad knowledge of both process development and technology. The ability to act effectively to achieve results in a global matrix organization will also be of high importance in this role.


Key Responsibilities
Identify IT investments required to stay competitive and compliant with regulations
Benchmark technology applied in accounting and reporting processes
Manage roadmap planning based on strategic objectives, business priorities and dependencies
Lead studies in specific technologies and their applications to support finance
Lead the work towards well informed make or buy decisions, securing that standard software is used where applicable, enabling best practice processes
Lead or support sourcing of software solutions and implementation projects
Secure efficient governance on roadmap level and for ongoing projects

Skills Requirements
Experience from leading digital transformation
Experience from process development within finance or business administration
Experience from procurement and implementation of IT-solutions
Experience from planning and managing dependencies on roadmap level
Proven skills in managing and structuring work in a global team
Strong team working skills in matrix organizations and geographically diversified teams
Highly skilled in communication and management of relations with stakeholders on senior management level in a global context
Innovation mindset and ability to engage people in innovating and implementing change
Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and changing priorities
