The IT & Digitalization function is responsible for the digitalization strategy and IT investment within Financial Control & Accounting. We are now hiring a Digital Solution Manager to further strengthen our team and accelerate the digital transformation of Financial Control & Accounting.
We expect finance to change significantly over the coming years, towards fully automated and touchless processes as well as advanced analytics based on real-time data. As a team and in close cooperation with colleagues in other organizations, we are making it happen.
As Digital Solution Manager, you will drive digitalization of the operations and processes in Financial Control & Accounting. You will be part of developing our strategy towards aspiring short- and long-term targets and take on key-initiatives to realize the strategy. This includes the iterative process of proactively identifying current and upcoming requirements, benchmarking to know the best practice, planning, execution and evaluation. It also involves leading the work towards well informed make or buy decisions and procurement of vendor solutions.
We expect the right candidate to have experience from heading digitalization projects and a broad knowledge of both process development and technology. The ability to act effectively to achieve results in a global matrix organization will also be of high importance in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the project portfolio and roadmap towards the digital transformation of FCA operations
Manage a virtual and cross-functional team with members from across different finance organizations, to execute pre-studies and projects in our portfolio
Represent FCA in key-projects at Steering Committee or on PMO-level
Secure efficient governance on roadmap level and for ongoing projects to drive a well-controlled acceleration of Digitalization
Overall responsible to identify and recommend prioritization for IT investments required for Volvo to stay relevant and compliant with regulations
Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies and dialogue with application owners and budget owners, in order to execute development in respective application
Manage the continuous dialogue with stakeholders in different finance organizations
Requirements
Experience from senior roles in large-scale digital transformation within Finance
Experience from managing project portfolios and/or large-scale programs
Broad knowledge about emerging technologies and their applications in Finance
Proven people management skills and ability to coach teams when required.
Experience from procurement and implementation of IT-solutions
Strong negotiation skills
Strong team working skills in matrix organizations and geographically diversified teams
Highly skilled in communication and management of relations with stakeholders on senior management level in a global context
