Digital Talent Programme – Data Engineer

By applying to the Digital Talent Programme 2021 you can become 1 of 12 talents working towards that goal. Each position in the programme is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges.
Next to your personal development in this position, you will also be enjoying one year of all we have to offer. A year within this programme will include both virtual and live meet-ups with your international colleagues. During the year you will work on assignments virtually together, as well as participating in four seminar weeks during which you will meet live. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to join a variety of trainings.

Your role as an Data Engineer
We are a unit which provide analytics functions to all retails group in Nordics, which includes everything from the technical to strategic advice to build platforms and solutions to enable analytics within the business.
Your daily activities
You will become part of the Customer Analytics team that develops and keeps our data used mainly for customer analytics together in a data platform. As a Data Engineer you will have an important role in capturing the potential that analytics can give Vattenfall. You will design, build and integrate data from various sources. You will write complex data queries and create data infrastructure in a simple and efficient matter. You will visualize data for the business to make it possible to e.g. increase decision accuracy and improve process efficiency. Your responsibilities will mainly relate to cloud services as Vattenfall use Microsoft Azure as a cloud platform.

You are our ideal talent if you are a recent graduate with an academic degree or a young professional with no more than three years of working experience. You are fluent in English. Skills in other languages can be a merit. Furthermore, you are willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization.

Location: Stockholm (Solna)
You will be working in department Customer IT Customer Analytics and the position is located in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Digital Talent Programme is a kickstart to your career within Vattenfall. We welcome your application in English, including resume and cover letter. Last day to apply is 4th of April 2021. Selection period starts in April, followed by online tests and interviews in April and May. The recruitment process will be finalized around the end of May. The last step will be a pre-employment screening. Starting date of the Digital Talent Programme will be 1st of September 2021.
