• You’re a seasoned information scientist with experience mapping characteristics, identifying new and established naming strategies to facilitate customer and business needs, and streamlining large-scale operational systems. • You understand human-centered design principles and agile delivery methods and are comfortable leading and partnering on teams that incorporate both these ways of working.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As a Digital Taxonomy Leader, you’ll help bring the unique IKEA brand to life for billions of digital customers around the world. You’ll lead complex projects and collaborate across Ingka and Inter-IKEA systems to deliver successful outcomes for our coworkers and customers. You’ll partner with other digital content experts to drive strategies and approaches, and support the broader Group Digital organization, working within a highly collaborative environment including coworkers from Digital Experience, Product, Engineering, Data and Business teams.
Here’s a sampling of expectations for your role as a Digital Taxonomy Leader:
• Research and benchmark retail best practices, set up digital taxonomy strategies and continuously validate and improve our systems.
• Lead all digital taxonomy initiatives within our cross-functional teams: collect inputs from leadership, internal and external content producers and customers; communicate priorities and strategies to stakeholders; and manage resources to help execute the work seamlessly and efficiently.
• Lead and own education plans for internal teams, helping to socialize human-centered taxonomy approaches and best practices throughout the organization.
• Contribute to and continuously iterate content strategy toolkits, approaches and strategies to provide consistency across disconnected teams and projects to ensure integrated priorities and outcomes.
• Lead and partner with other Digital Content Centre of Expertise team members to produce and maintain digital content audits to continuously improve the quality of our content.
• Bring new ideas to life and infuse a sense of play into our digital taxonomy approach. Drive and lead brainstorming, human-centered content workshops, and other co-creative design methods to bring out the best in our talents and efforts.
