We are currently looking for a Digital/IT Solution Lead to join our Global IT business function. This position will report to the IT Director and will focus on supporting our Planning, Logistics and Customer Care teams with taking ownership of the full end-to-end cycle management of technology centred application developments, implementations and integrations. You will be leading an international delivery team which includes Application Specialists, Project Managers, Business Analysts and will liaise directly with the offshore developers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for delivery and performance of solutions within Logistics, Customer Care, Planning and EDI
Owning decisions in relation to workflow prioritisation, budget management, domain and architecture utilisation
Lead & coach the delivery team securing collaboration between all team members to deliver on team commitments
Interact with and constructively challenge users, customers & stakeholder to clarify needs & solution
Contribute to development and implementation of the global IT strategy including digital vision & mission and digital technology innovation roadmap
Deputise in SCRUM master role when appropriate
Ensure that the solutions follow relevant regulatory, privacy, and security requirements in line with company policies
Define processes, tools and competencies needed within the delivery team and broader IT organisation to further build the delivery capability aligned with established agile & DevOps framework
CAPABILITIES; QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Experience from working with managing full IT solution development and delivery
Experience from working in supply chain with focus on logistics, order to delivery and planning
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives within Supply chain
University degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology.
Demonstrable team leadership skills with ability to create a learning culture
Experience from working with automation and standardization processes
Solid experience from agile methods like SCRUM etc.
Documented experience of applying digital technology to impact commercial business
Experience leading design and strategy activities
Deep understanding of digital business models in practice
Ability to gain understanding of customers’ business processes and unmet needs, while also managing expectations and scope
Experience articulating and executing a customer-centric IT strategy
Strong analytical and logical skills
Strong verbal and presentation skills, including comfortable communicating to varied groups
Ability to develop and present new ideas, concepts, approaches and solutions
Possess good visualisation and collaboration skills
Strong team player.
