Digitalization Development Engineer
Alfa Laval is investing further in development of smart Separation and are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and driven Data Analytic Engineer having a central role in our strive to optimize the performance of our products.
About the job
The R&D Digitalization department within Business Unit High Speed is responsible for developing smart features with focus on separation optimization and sustainability. In this position, you will become an instrumental part of the technical team responsible of the development and productization of such smart features.
As a Data Analytic Engineer your role is to develop new features and functions. This means analysis of technical data, do simulation and programming of the features, development, and testing concepts. A vital part of the role is to understand our product and the different applications it is used in and to be able to see the dependencies inside the product. The group is to large extent self-sufficient when it comes to execute these tasks.
This position offers many interesting challenges and opportunities to grow and develop as an engineer. The team you will be joining is a well-educated and highly motivated group. It is expected that you can work independently.
What you know
We are looking for a candidate with a master’s in engineering. It is expected that you have high interest in data analytics, innovations, and mechatronics.
To succeed in this role, you should be able to convert your theoretical knowledge into a working solution for our products. We would like you to have a genuine curiosity and the ability to acquire new knowledge.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish would be a merit.
Documented skills in Matlab, Simulink, Python, PLC programming, Machine Learning, and Data analysis are considered to be an advantage.
In this position we expect you to be a good communicator and a strong representative to push your issues forward in our company.
