The team
Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) is the unit within Volvo Car Group that is responsible for all commercial activities in the EMEA markets, through our National Sales Companies, Importers and Retail Partners. 

Volvo Cars is undertaking a deep digital transformation. We are investing in new platforms with the ambition to drive our digital marketing agenda. As part of this strategy we are building the EMEA Marcom Center: a team made of digital marketing experts who aim at leveraging the usage of Volvo Cars Martech platforms and consumer insights to deliver marketing efficiency and automation at scale.

Your role
We are looking for you who have both passion for and proven expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM/email marketing. The ideal candidate will have a marketing tech background, a solid knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and a business sense to coach and train EMEA markets. Your technical capabilities will be key to success in this job. 
In this role, you will coach our marketing teams in the local EMEA markets to ensure their adoption and effective usage of our marketing automation platforms. In collaboration with product and CX experts you will develop outbound direct marketing campaigns as well as acquisition and loyalty programs and deploy them across EMEA markets. You will also track, analyze and report results and make suggestions to continually improve our approach to drive conversion results. 
•    Drive the adoption of Salesforce Marketing Cloud in the EMEA marketing community by providing coaching, training and best practices 
•    Work in close cooperation with business owners and product teams to develop cross-channel consumer engagement programs to increase lead conversion and customer loyalty
•    Create journeys and automation that supports our always-on communication 
•    Develop strategies and tactics optimizing first-party data usage, advanced audience and data modeling 
•    Ensure best practices are shared and employed to secure deliverability and consumer engagement
•    Support the production of training materials in different formats to feed the Academy
•    Understand the broader Martech eco-system and act as an evangelist in the EMEA marketing community

Your Qualifications
•    A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication or IT
•    A proven experience with CRM / email marketing including hands-on development and execution of campaigns in – preferably – Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Marketing Cloud certifications are a plus
•    Experience with in-app communication and push notifications
•    Hands-on work experience with journey building, email creation and marketing automations
•    Knowledge of Salesforce Core platform and understanding of data flows with Marketing Cloud
•    Knowledge of SQL, HTML, JavaScript, AMPscript is a plus 
•    Experience in creating and delivering training in different forms (wiki articles, webinars, product demos…)
•    Hands-on work with data analysis and reporting that delivers actionable insights
•    A good understanding of email deliverability and performance tactics
•    English will be your daily working language and that is not a problem for you

Location
EMEA operates from Volvo Cars headquarter in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is therefore the preferred location for the ideal candidate. Alternative locations in Sweden and Europe can be discussed.
