Do you want to gain invaluable experience in communication and fundraising, while working for one of the world's largest medical aid organizations? In fact, you do not have to be a doctor to work with us! We are looking for you who are passionate, resourceful and independent for a full-time job at our Direct Dialogue Summer Campaign.
As the coordinator for the summer campaign, you will be responsible for and participating in the activities of our four teams travelling around Sweden (three teams located in the Stockholm area, and one team in Umeå). The fundraising activities are mainly during week 24-32. The team is working together to spread information about our work and the aim is to recruit more regular donors for Läkare Utan Gränser by door to door activities. It is both challenging work, but also a lot of room for development, and a unique opportunity to make a great difference for people around the world.
The role
Direct Dialogue is a fundraising method aiming to recruit new regular donors. Teams of 5-10 workers (full-time equivalents) in selected places will work to raise awareness of Läkare Utan Gränsers work and monthly donations.
The coordinators’ mission is to organize and manage Face to Face and Door to Door activity according to set plan and objectives for the Direct Dialogue department.
The activity will be travelling in the summer months and other selected periods in several areas of Sweden. The preparation work will be conducted from our Stockholm office.
Main responsibilities
- Together with Direct Dialogue management; create plans for Face 2 Face activities
- Participate in dialogue activities with the team
- Directing, coordinating and controlling the project activities
- Line manager responsibility: Recruitment/staffing, HR administration, training, evaluation and development
- Safety and security management, including risk analysis, for the Direct Dialogue activity
We are looking for you with
- Experience from fundraising dialogue, sales or other relevant occupational fields
- Experience from team leading or coaching
- Minimum High School Education (Gymnasium)
- Fluent in English, Swedish is an asset
- Permit to work in Sweden
In this role it is important to be quality- and results oriented, as well as working pro-actively and being flexible to the needs of the department.
It’s valuable if you have
- Basic MS office experience

Employment terms and conditions
- Form of employment: Temporary employment from May 23rd till the end of August 2022 (around 3 months)
- Working hours: 37,5 hours working week is full time
- Salary: 31 624 SEK per month (fixed salary based on position according to our salary policy)
- Benefits: Pension, health insurance, life insurance, occupational injury insurance, travel insurance, wellness allowance (up to 2000 SEK/year).
- 100% salary day 1-14 in case of illness (no qualifying day)
- Holiday: 30 days/year (based on number of months for this employment)
- As an employee of Läkare Utan Gränser you are covered by a collective agreement between Fremia and Union and Akademikerförbundet.
