Job Description

As the Direct Marketing specialist, you will work in a dedicated online team, in close collaboration with your nearest colleagues and our CRM Specialist. Your main responsibilities include setting, driving, and executing the direct marketing channel strategy from a brand, sales, and customer engagement perspective.
This role will be focused on planning, coordinating, and publishing the Monki Newsletters
Driving the lifecycle and onboarding program in collaboration with our CRM Specialist.
You will be the contact person and collaborate with our Business Tech organization to drive initiatives related to the email marketing channel to enable a more relevant customer experience.
You will also work with insights and constant improvement, initiating, driving, and analyzing tests of the channel in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

To be successful in this role we see that you have the ability to switch back and forth from day-to-day operational work to analysis and coordinate to improve and expand our direct marketing range. As a person, you are confident in your own abilities and understand that teamwork will produce great results.
We would love to meet someone who:
Relevant education or experience/knowledge for this role including Google analytics, email marketing systems (such as Apsis, Mail Chimp, Adobe Experience Manager or Adobe campaign) and ideally basic html skills
Ideally experience of setting up A/B testing within the email channel and evaluate and optimize based on the result
Strong analytical skills and experience in using data to find insights and create relevant customer communication, e.g. email, SMS and app pushes campaigns
Have a visual eye, with the ability to create an inspiring and commercial looking newsletter, always with the customer and Monki top of mind
Have a strong understanding and passion for the customer experience
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Proactive with the ability to organize, and able to prioritize strategically and operational
