Who you are
We are looking for a Direct Tax manager to our office site KH in Älmhult. As a Direct tax manager, you will be a part of Finance Services department.

Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
- A university degree in Tax Law or an equivalent degree.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the tax field from the Big 4 or an international corporation.
- Very good knowledge of especially Swedish, but also international, tax law.
- Specialisation in direct tax but you have also good knowledge within indirect tax.
- Good knowledge of accounting and legal principles.
- Proven strong analytical and numerical skills as well as general business/financial skills.
- Good communication skills, both in Swedish and English.
And, of course, you share and live the IKEA culture and values and have a genuine interest in home furnishing.
Your responsibilities
As Direct tax manager, you will support, guide, advise and monitor the Swedish Ingka Group companies in a pro-active way on Direct Tax matters.
Your main assignment will be to:
· Enable the business to comply with its direct tax responsibilities under a tax control framework.
· Maintain continuous contact with finance and accounting managers and other relevant internal and external parties to identify and quantify potential tax exposures, including giving input to Group Tax in NL, the Tax Council and/or Finance Committee.
· Share knowledge and best practices with relevant stakeholders.
· Identify the impact of international and local tax developments on the Swedish Ingka organisation, communicate the relevant developments to the stakeholders and determine which actions need to be undertaken.
· Lead in the implementation of changes to the structure or transactions.
· Be responsible in case of a tax audit in order to secure Ingka Group’s tax position and ensure that consistent and accurate information is provided to the tax authorities.
· Assist Accounting & Reporting in their direct tax reporting.
· Work closely together with our accounting specialists in tax matters.
· Ensure relevant tax competence, knowledge and awareness amongst team members and other relevant staff.
· In dialogue with accounting and finance colleagues, secure correct transfer pricing as well as TP documentation.
The Direct tax manager will be part of Finance Services at Ingka AB and has a strong cooperation with Group Finance and Tax in Netherlands which purpose is to provide expertise in Finance and Tax matters, balancing risks, and opportunities in the market, support the business in its growth, while ensuring a strong position as good corporate citizen.
