The department Technical Service is responsible for developing and implementing efficient, market oriented and pro-active workshop technical support, workshop information, competences, products, systems and owner's information. We are recruiting a Director for the section Owner's Information. You will be a part of the management team and report to the Senior Director Technical Service.

As Director - Section Owner's Information you are responsible for all strategies, development and deliveries of owner's information such as manuals, service and warranty booklets, quick guides and other supplements distributed as printed or electronic products. The information is also available for our customers in the cars center display, on the online support and from the Owner's Manual app, Volvo Manual. You will also support our regions and markets by developing support information such as articles, guides, instructional video clips and release notes. A significant part of the role is to establish and develop relationships with representatives from many areas in Product & Quality, Global Consumer Experience, Group IT, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Global Customer Service meaning you will build and maintain a wide personal network within Volvo Cars. You will be responsible for developing your personnel in an inspiring way, which will make your group deliver top results in all aspects always.

Main responsibilities

* Develop requirements, needs and demands on the basis of customer and user value, Customer Service and production efficiency
* Development of information product strategy and plans
* Lead the development and maintenance of our owner's information portfolio
* Drive utilisation of cost and lead time efficiency tasks
* Maintain and improve process development
* Communicate with the regions and markets

Required qualifications

* Technical education, preferably master degree or equivalent experience
* At least 5 years of experience within product development
* Proven leadership abilities
* Excellent communication skills
* Fluent in English, written and written
* Driving license B
