Job Description
As the Area Lead Engineer for Data Transformation & Optimization, as a driven leader, you will play a vital role for us in our mission to make H&M Group a truly data and insight driven company. You will work closely and report to the Unit Lead Data Transformation & optimization and will help support & lead development and maintain a strategic direction within AIAD & ensure alignment with technology and data Strategy.​You will lead development and maintain the strategic direction within your unit and capability area and ensure alignment with technology and business strategy. Being accountable for an area leadership, representing the unit and its members​, build and maintain strategic partnerships with AIAD leadership & stakeholders.
Responsibilitie:
Lead, manage and execute large cross-cutting and technology projects (programs), involving a large number of teams​
Lead, manage the program portfolio method and reporting ​
Lead initiatives cross Domains, Units, Areas and Teams, as well as with business stakeholders to drive joint initiatives, requiring synchronized backlogs and activities​
Responsible for planning and preparing the roll-out of programs in countries, coordinating both with regional stakeholders as well as program stakeholders, ensuring alignment on dependencies and timelines​
Takes responsibility and accountability and drives planning and resolution, providing key stakeholders with timely statuses​
Lead various product initiatives while delivering other cross-functional projects and ensure coordination across areas (where necessary) ​
Communicates with various stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and tasks to ensure the overall success of the program​
Develop a thorough understanding of business processes and technical issues​
Enable continuous improvement during projects, ensuring learnings are documented and shared with other tech teams​
Manage stakeholders effectively​
Continuously improve the cooperation between the product teams with other stakeholders at H&M and in the Business Tech organization.



Qualifications
Experience and Skills​:
Drive project and program management skills incl. task breakdown, prioritization and planning, clarification of ownership, pro-active risk management and status monitoring​
Lead people and teams with including giving strength-based feedback, OKR-based individual development​
Assure assignments that foster the company priorities as well as the individual development objectives​
Identify interdependencies within a dynamic product landscape and complex organization and create awareness & understanding around it​
Communicate with experience of forming alliances and bringing together multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to execute on a common mission​
Understand core retail processes and associated technical solutions​
Challenge the status quo and find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas​
Roll up the sleeves” and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn​
Empower others to fail, learn, and grow​
Have a business and customer-oriented mindset and solve complex problems
