Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions is a place of inclusive collaboration, agility, and innovation – where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing.
We’re now looking for a talented and experienced Director Business Control – a role that requires an organized, balanced and networking financial partner with a strong ethical compass and a passion for business. This is a unique opportunity to join us on this exciting transformation journey, where you truly get to impact our direction by making numbers talk and establishing profitable business plans. Are you eager to shape the future of manufacturing? Then we really want you on board!
Let’s talk about your mission
In this central and diverse position with global exposure, you’re an important advisor to our business area management team, supporting us in establishing successful business plans and decision-making including M&As. You have a key role in analyzing, reporting, consolidating, and forecasting the performance and results from a financial point of view, providing both ad hoc and proactive input to drive profitable growth and capital efficiency – working closely with all our stakeholders and other members of the finance community. You also look at financial trends and possible impacts to the business, and you keep an eye on market development – including automation and technical improvements of financial processes – to make sure we stay on top of our game.
You report to the Vice President and CFO of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, and this position is based in the Malmö area. Some international travel is normally included in your job.
And what about you?
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Finance or Business Administration, combined with strong business acumen and a solid financial background of managing companies within a corporate environment. You have extensive experience from working in a complex and global finance setting, including managerial exposure, and you’re skilled in leading the way and interacting with stakeholders in global organizations. Previous experiences from M&A’s are highly valued, as is an understanding of the mining and construction industry. Operating worldwide calls for an open mind and cultural awareness – you’re used to working cross both functions and borders and have excellent communication skills in English.
By balancing strategy with tactics, you help grow our business, and you challenge, influence, and guide us towards a strong future where high performance is key. Your analytical capabilities, business mindset and the courage to initiate actions also make sure that you get things done in this dynamic and fast paced environment. You lead us in a transparent, straight forward, and empowering way and you establish a truly collaborative environment across our organization. Add a passion for improvements and development, and you’re the ideal match for this job!
