Business Area Buses Business Control team is a vital part of creating business value for the company. Director Business Controller for Service Market, India & Central Europe
In collaboration with our Global Finance community as well as other Volvo Group Functions, you have the responsibility for planning & developing Service Market reporting and follow-up. You are responsible for the follow-up of Services SCS, surcharges and variances. You are also supporting other parts of BA Buses organization in understanding, planning, monitoring, and optimizing the Service Market Logistics allocations. In addition, you manage the full Business Control activities for India and the Central Europe markets, assessing the risks and supporting a new financial set-up in these markets. Together with colleagues from BA Buses finance community around the globe, you develop solutions to improve business performance. Main activities and responsibilities:
· Coordinate tasks in relation to services within BA Buses Business Control community to improve efficiency.
· Participate in various projects related to services, further developing the reporting run by other organisations.
· Handle spare parts SCS & principles, as well as cost reductions related to spare parts, including discussions with Group Trucks Operations Service Market Logistics.
· Service contracts – secure evaluation of outstanding contracts and related reporting/accounting.
· Refresh/map flows of parts sales.
· Coordinate and drive the E-Mobility Financial process within BA Buses.
· Manage financial set-up and process for new business initiatives like Usable Energy Commitment.
· Business Control for the Central Europe & India markets.
· Secure that Volvo financial policies and procedures are adhered to.
· Anticipate future risks & opportunities and develop actions to mitigate the risks.
· Ad hoc assignments, typically driven by larger initiatives with significant financial impacts.
To be successful in your new role we want you to have the following knowledge/experience:
· Master of Finance or equivalent.
· Experience from business control function in a global matrix organization .
· Experience in establishing and working with financial models with Partners and Joint ventures.
· Experience in Central Europe markets will be an advantage.
· Knowledge about financial follow-up of quality and campaigns in automotive set-up.
· Data-driven analytical skills with proven records of developing data models in Excel as well as Business Intelligence tools.
· Ability to create innovative & illustrative visualizations, communicate the results of analysis, and explain deviations to senior stakeholders in both financial and non-financial audiences.
· Knowledge of SAP, Oracle Smart View/Essbase and Hyperion (or other similar planning solutions).
· Understanding of lean principles and structured problem-solving tools.
· Fluent in both written and spoken English.
· Preferably experienced in Volvo business including working with Joint Ventures.
