In this role you are responsible for the global sales strategy of Axis Video Hosting Solutions (AVHS). You will report directly to the Director Global Services, and the work will be done in close cooperation with the nine sales regions and key stakeholders from central functions including Product Management and Solution Marketing.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As part of this role you will be expected to set the overall sales strategy for Hosted Services and address key areas for the positive sales development of AVHS. You will work in close cooperation with the sales regions to support them in the implementation of the sales strategy and share best practices between the regions. You are also the primary interface to Product Management in the New Business organization when it comes to market requirements on the AVHS platform and work with costumer trials to gain understanding for the value in new service, and how they should be packaged.
Key responsibility areas will include:
Responsible for the global sales strategy of AVHS and the owner of the business model for AVHS services. Develop pricing models for various hosted services that will be launched on the AVHS platform Actively gain input from the market to make sure that new services launched on the AVHS platform are commercially viable. This could include initiating pilots and establishing focus groups. Breaking down the overall strategy in tangible tactics to support the sales regions with the actual implementation of the AVHS strategy. Act as a champion for the AVHS business managing communication with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an experienced and analytical team player with extensive experience from within either the IT or Security (central alarm station) industry. You should have relevant experience in establishing or developing cloud based subscription services as a business. You should have international business experience as well as an appropriate understanding of transforming a business from product sales to service sales. It is also important that you have the ability to work both with global sales regions and cross functionally within a matrix organization.
In order to thrive in the position we believe you are passionate about business development and communication, proactive and independent in thought and actions and able to influence people. It is highly important that you are a bearer of our company culture and able to communicate complex business issues clearly and strongly to senior management. A strong cultural awareness in order to effectively drive and support implementation in the nine sales regions is also of great importance. Fluency in written and spoken English is required, other European languages is considered a benefit.
