ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Business Development & Planning plays a vital role in developing business strategies for our TAC brands (Absolut, Malibu and Kahlúa) by bridging global brand strategies to local market brand plans, as well as finding and investigating potential growth relays. This position reports to the VP Business Acceleration and Planning and will lead a team of 3 direct reports (Business Development Manager, Business Analysis Manager,Sr Manager Strat & Planning).
Main responsibilities
•Lead Transform and Accelerate business growth plan for TAC
•Lead Key Strategic Presentations (, e.g. T&A, Budget Presentation, TAC Strategic Intent and Key Battlegrounds)
• Work closely with CI and lead marketing efficiency to enable T&A to materialize
•Lead RGM Strategy for TAC and with key market on RGM agenda
•Enable a clear understanding of the global marketplace to determine key challenges & opportunities for TAC brands
•Lead category/competitive intelligence
•Design the business and brand planning cycle to ensure strategies deliver against the marketplace trends and dynamics
•Lead market segmentation strategy to ensure the right level of prioritization
•Ensure clear translation of global strategy and business objectives into local plans with clear commercial and consumer objectives
•Lead key transformational & business growth projects.
This is a key role in Business Planning where you will positively impact both the immediate and long-term success of the organization. The role holder will drive strong coordination, collaboration and alignment between TAC and Market Companies, ensure translation of global brand strategies and business objectives into clear local roadmaps and action plans, drive market segmentation and prioritization, identify and assess potential growth relays, investigate RGM (revenue growth management) opportunities. It will also play a key role to ensure commercial and marketing performance KPIs.
Experience & background
University Degree or higher in Strategy or Business Development
15+ years in strategy role, in an international or regional organization (incl. consulting firm)
International profile, with experience in different markets/functions
Strong strategic mindset and planning experience, including leading/facilitating planning processes
Broad marketing (strategy, planning, activation…), commercial and financial acumen
Ability to travel up to 25-30%
