At Scania Academy's our mission is to work with continuous learning and competence development as a key to enable Scania’s transformation.
Traditionally learning has happened in settings that we recognize from classroom trainings and formal setups. Our way of learning is also transforming, and we are now looking for information and knowledge in completely new ways. Learning takes place more and more continuously and as an integral part of the daily work.
The overarching mission for the group Commercial Competence Development is to ensure sustainable and efficient competence development activities to support the main stakeholders within the commercial area. That includes our Commercial Operations organisation, but also other business areas as Sales & Marketing, Mobility Solutions and our non-captive markets in their needs today and tomorrow.
What we can offer
As Director of Commercial Competence Development at Scania Academy, you will have the opportunity to lead an organisation consisting of three teams with three group managers reporting to you.
The teams are Technical Training Development and their mission is to support the Commercial network with technical and product service network introductions training.
Market Introduction Training to support Sales & Marketing with training for market introduction Trucks and Buses and support Non-Captive markets as well.
Sales, Presales, Mobility Solutions and Business Management to strengthen and develop organisation and employees within the commercial network globally
In this assignment you will be challenged to continuously develop your teams and their assignments, and with a growth mindset turn strategy into execution. Communication about learning throughout the organisation will be a natural ingredient of your daily work , so your excellent communication skills will come to good use.
In your operational role as well as member of Scania Academy Management Team, you will be contributing to discussions and decisions about Scania’s learning strategy, take part in continuously developing the Scania Academy organisation and also to understanding new techniques and methods to meet the accelerating speed of business. You will be interacting in the global Scania landscape and have the possibility to work with colleagues all over the world.
Profile
We believe you have an academic degree and experience from working within Scania's commercial area. Your burning interest for competence development, growing a learning culture and leading change is obvious. You are driven to understand the potential of a data driven approach in various aspects of the operations. You are a leader others want to follow.
