Director Core IT Infrastructure

In the role as Director of Core IT Infrastructure at Resurs, you will be responsible of driving short- and long-term strategic plans in order to secure our IT infrastructural capacity for current and future business needs.

Your main assignment within this role is to lead and manage the function for IT Platform and Enterprise Enabling into the future. The function consists of 4 teams with approximately 35 employees and a number of consultants, where you as the main leader will have Team Managers directly reporting to you.

Your responsibilities will include

- Lead and transform Resurs from an on-preem solution to go Cloud
- Establish a strong collaboration between functions within IT in order to secure platforms for our commercial products
- Be active in relevant forums related to architecture, infrastructure, security and development within the IT department
- Follow up on collaborations with external partners and suppliers
- Act as an ambassador for the IT department, be communicative and build relations with other teams in order collaborate
- Plan, prepare and report on strategies for keeping a good quality/standard of our internal infrastructure
- Make sure that IT have an acceptable level of “risk” within our internal IT infrastructure (related to network, servers, back-ups etc) and follow-up- Oversee budget and/or operation costs (short- and long term) in close collaboration with team managers and financial controller

In addition, we believe you have

- Several years’ experience within relevant IT/Tech Industry, working in a lead position
- Experience of planning, developing and overseeing routines, policy’s and plans
- A know-how of how to build, communicate and present strategies, roadmaps and KPI’s for your organisation
- A track record of leading various IT-projects within infrastructure
- Ability to develop and implement strategies in alignment with business needs
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills, being an inspirational mentor to your Team Manager and others
- Experience and knowledge of platforms such as AWS Cloud, OpenShift, Microsoft 365 /Azure, Cisco Network, Java and OpenSource.
- Relevant educational background


This role will be part of our IT Management Team and report directly to our CIO. Location will be Helsingborg or Malmö with the possibility or working partly (40%) remote.
