Our function is newly formed, and we aim to set and evolve enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and privacy compliance via vision, strategy, tactics, and operational support. Through this we want to make sure that we have optimal architecture, technology solutions, and ways of working in area of connectivity to drive value for Volvo Group and our Customers in a secure and compliant way. We believe that by applying lean governance in a cross functional cooperation model, we can ensure insight in the current, the right decisions, and continuously improve efficiency while minimizing risk.
The position
We are now looking for a colleague to head up Cybersecurity and join us in building our newly established function Architecture & Security. As Director Cybersecurity you will lead a team of skilled security experts, be overall responsible to drive the security function and as such be our information security evangelist. You will provide vision, strategies, and tactical leadership in the information security domain to continuously be reducing the cyber security risk levels for our company and our customers. You will be selecting, defining, and implementing practices and technologies supporting risk reduction in the complete chain of creating and delivering connected services. Measuring and monitoring tactical and operational state while ensuring internal and external policy and regulatory compliance. You will be part of a security network working with peers at different Volvo Group companies to cover product and cybersecurity for the Volvo Group.
The position reports to the Vice President Architecture & Security and is a member of the Connected Solutions Architecture & Security management team.
Key responsibilities
Setting the direction and leading development of Cybersecurity within Connected Solutions.
Build, develop and lead the Cybersecurity team.
Own and maintain the Connected Solutions security framework.
Follow, present, and explain the automotive security domain and stay informed about security events and developments in general.
Ensure Connected Solutions has a good level of security competence, maturity, and awareness.
Ensure that Connected Solutions has supplier contacts where needed to support the security function.
Ensure that security risks are managed appropriately and assist in information security risk assessments.
Articulating clear, actionable, and measurable security requirements which will help to prevent or mitigate the risks identified during risk assessment.
Takes active participation and sponsorship in driving maturity in processes and ways of working with regards to Security.
Make security budgets, forecasts and follow up
Your profile
To qualify for this role, you should have:
Ability to create a successful working climate with all functions within Connected Solutions, other Volvo Group entities as well as with customer and partners in the end-to-end value chain.
Solid experience within the area of software development and delivery of digital services
Be proficient in Information Security at enterprise level and Have familiarity with information security management frameworks, maturity models, standards, practices, and privacy regulations.
Understand and be knowledgeable in the automotive cyber security domain.
Experience in Cloud based technologies, Product based development and agile delivery methodologies.
Coaching leadership, ability to create and lead through networks and to create and maintain high level of trust.
Fluent in English with excellent communication, presentation, and organization skills
Successful in building excellent working relationships and operating effectively as a member of a leadership team.
Hold a master’s degree or equivalent as the basis for your career.
