As Director Digital BI Solutions you will be part of a team of 6 employees in this Centre of excellence (CoE). This CoE is driving digitalization within the finance community in the Volvo Group. We are driving change and development within capabilities consolidation, planning, master data, BI, allocations, restate and BI output. We are the link between IT and the business within our solution portfolio. The Director Digital BI Solutions team is part of the function Group Finance Business Office.

Group Finance Business Office is a function within Group Reporting Tax & Control which is part of Group Finance. Group Finance Business Office organizes and drive activities within Finance related to Information structure and Master Data management, Finance Digital & IT, Digital BI Solutions as well as Quality & Process Management.

Main activities and responsibilities
Secure, maintain and develop the SQL data hub and all its integrations
Be a driving force in the development of the master data system, MDMF.
Drive development of BI tools, visualization, analytics and data models.
Actively participate and drive improvement efforts within the Business control processes tools
Drive, coordinate and perform trainings in our Business control systems globally
Initiate and participates in systems development and/or enhancement initiatives, including testing

Competencies for the position
The following competences will be considered as valuable:
A university degree in engineering, computer science or Master of Business Administration or similar education
Good knowledge of Oracle Essbase
Good knowledge of SQL databases
Expert in output tools like Qlik, Power BI etc
Excellent knowledge in Volvo Group financial data model
Programing skills, SQL, DAX, Python and R
Good networking skills and the ability to work with a good balance between challenge and support out in the whole organization
Experience of working in projects
Ability to work independently in a flexible and multi-cultural environment
Fluent in written and spoken English
