Position Description
As Director Digital Experience you are responsible for leading the Digital Experience team. You will be instrumental in setting the digital communication strategy for Volvo Group. Together with your team, you will deliver an up to date digital experience to prioritized target groups that exceeds the users’ expectations of an effortless user journey. You will also deliver analytics and insights to improve relevance and helps us build prosperous relations.
You will report to SVP Corporate Communication.
Main activities and responsibilities:
Own, lead and develop Volvo Group digital presence globally
Partner and collaborate with Volvo Group internal stakeholders and support functions (TD/BA/GF) to secure a common road map for the Digital Experience of Volvo Group where needed. Continuously coordinate and align cross process business demand and set priorities
Manage User Journeys and optimize the digital touchpoints. Ensure the digital strategy and ways of working are evolving continuously in line with market and tech evolution
Act as Center of Excellence within specific areas and support the TD/BAs
Monitor and prioritize activities within digital marketing, Analytics, Insights, SEO, conversion rate optimization and the total digital user experience driven by the Corporate Communication. Set requirements for IT support and development
Develop and manage the budget and financial follow-up of the Digital Experience Team
Engage and motivate the Digital Experience team
Advising senior executives on digital trends and opportunities related to Corporate Communication (Volvo Group target groups)
Experience and Education
Experience from procurement of digital solutions as well as implementing global digital projects
Extensive experience managing projects in a multi-market/language set up with several external and internal stakeholders. Experience of leading global networks
Experience working with global brands and digital brand guidelines
Background and experience working in an agile and iterative environment, proactively driving a change management agenda
Proven knowledge in user journey mapping methodology
Experience working for a stock market company, knowing the rules and regulations related to that aspect
A degree in economics/marketing or other relevant education in marketing/digital marketing/digital experience
Key competencies
You are comfortable working with people at all levels. You have a sound understanding of the Volvo Group business and always make sure that you understand the need, preferences and environment of the stakeholders
You can lead in change and inspire others on the journey and have solid communication skills. You have proven experience in relationship management and ability to influence key stakeholders, both business and technical
You have a broad experience from working cross-functionally within Volvo Group and have a broad understanding of external digital platforms such as Adobe Experience Cloud and the underlying technologies
Persistent and structured approach to secure implementation and long-term results but also a person who have the courage to challenge the status quo
