Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you want drive the shift to sustainability for Power Solutions and have your own profitability responsibility, then this is the job for you. Power Solutions, as one of four business areas of Scania, has a track record of impressive growth over the past few years. Continued growth is to a large extent going to come from e-mobility opportunities.

Electrification is transforming the Power Solutions markets, just like the transport industry. The task for you and your team is to lead change by developing the business plan for e-mobility, and execute it both short and long term.

Power Solutions is a synergy business area and your work is to identify where there is a perfect match between market demand and Scania solutions, meaning to define what we should develop in terms of products, services, processes, agile working methods, competence and partnerships, for which type of customers, when in time, and then lead this work. One key question is to evaluate the opportunity of selling batteries. You might come to the conclusion that we have to redefine our customer base and business model. Nothing is predetermined.

We are now running customer pilots in order to learn more and we are preparing to launch the first products and services to the market in one year’s time. You could not join the team at a more exciting period of time.

The work includes customers contacts in various applications within the industrial, marine and power generations segments as well as cross functional work. You will take the leading role in developing roadmaps, sales, technical sales support and services, set the direction and pace and involve the rest of the organisation on the journey.

You will also be part of the KE Power Solutions management team, and contribute to taking the complete responsibility for the business area, which has a broad responsibility from R&D to sales and after sales, almost like a company within Scania, and report to Joel Granath, Senior Vice President, head of Power Solutions.
