The Electromobility organization is responsible for the complete development lifecycle, from strategic development to maintaining the products on the market. We drive the transition from conventional powertrains to electromobility and secure a stepwise implementation in different segments and regions. The organization develops and drives the Electromobility product portfolio for Trucks & Buses as well creating opportunities for all business areas within Volvo Group. Electromobility is one of the keys to achieving sustainable mobility for the future.

Your responsibility


As Director Medium Duty Electric propulsion, you will be responsible of the product management of electric propulsion over time in medium duty installations, from start of industrialization development to customer care with an eye on budget as well as quality in the deliveries and always with the customer in focus.


Your key responsibilities are:
Driving the electromobility propulsion evolution over time in with a base in the electromobility product roadmaps and with CAST (Common Architecture Shared Technology) in mind
Passionately develop individuals to reach their full potential
Be a gateway and support in the dialogue to and from electromobility with collaboration as a guiding star
Continuously work towards improving the way of working at electromobility

Qualifications:
You are holding a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
You have a successful track record in inspiring, motivating and leading high performing teams
You have at least 15 years of product development experience
You have at least 5 years of documented leadership experience
You have at least 5 years of successful experience leading projects in a cross functional and global environment
You have experience of and embrace working with agile methods
You have documented experience of working with electric products
You have excellent English skills, written and spoken
Commercial driver’s license, C or CE is meriting
