Director Enablement – Connected Services & Solutions

Connected Services & Solutions is a fast evolving business area within Scania Sales and Marketing were we aim high to reach our vision and work close to our  partners by developing  new services for the transport-industry and also to digitalise the transport processes. We have three commercial areas:
 
a) Digital Transport Operator, developing and selling products available on the market today
b) New Business Solutions, focusing on future business and products
c) Scania One, Scania’s digital interface directly to our customers.
 
The three areas are supported by two technical departments, Digital Tools (basically developing the applications) and Enablement.
 
We within the management team are now looking for a new member that can take lead in our section for Enablement.  
 
Enablement is a department with five groups and leads the work for approximately 50 people that works closely and cross functionally within the whole Connected Services & Solutions department. The five groups are:

Analytics & Architecture
Access & Onboarding
App enablement
Customer Experience
Delivery Engineering and Framework

 The Director for the department will report to the Vice President of Connected Services & Solutions.
 
Assignment
The Enablement  organisation will support all of Connected Services & Solutions by developing and providing the framework and specialist competences. The work is characterized by cross functionality, team spirit and flexibility.
The role will require working cross-functionally and collaboratively with Engineering, Product, and Operations organisations, choreographing and coordinating large transport systems with high quality, and at incredible speed.
 
The Mission for Enablement can be summarised


Make sure it is technically easy to choose the strategically aligned way of developing our services
Ensure that the customer perceives a seamless ”Scania experience”
Ensure that Connected Services can capitalise on the values we deliver
Take lead in ensuring coordinated architecture and technology framework
Develop Data science within Connected Services & Solutions and provide expertise for rest of Connected Services & Solutions and Scania 

Your profile
We are looking for a can-do mentality combined with an analytical mind-set and structured way of working. You can take a holistic view of the architecture and deep dive into what’s really going on and offer guidance and direction to assure delivery, and quickly establish credibility in our organisation.  You will have strong evidence of influence, leadership and delivery across Connected Service & Solutions.
To fit the expectations  of the role we think you have:

Managerial experience.
Interest and knowledge in coaching leaders and managers.
A desire to make each day better.
Agile IT development and continuous development of working methods.
Hopefully a different character and profile to complement the team we already have.
Relevant academic engineering or equal knowledge.
