Place of action
You will be a part of a small specialized team working with export control matters within the legal department at Saab corporate. You will be reporting to the Head of Corporate Export Compliance. The corporate export compliance function is responsible for setting internal policies, issuing directives to the line organisation, supporting the line organisation in strategic businesses as well as leading the export control council within Saab.
Your future challenge
As Director Export Compliance your main role will be to perfome duties within the area of export control as tasked by the Head of Corporate Export Compliance. It includes, but are not limited to
* develop and maintain training material
* perform training within the company
* follow developments of national and international export control regulations
* develop and maintain internal routines, directives and processes
* conduct audits within Saabs business and market areas
* support business areas, market areas and corporate functions
* prepare advice and decisions in complicated export control matters and to pursue matters with appropriate authorities.
You are expected not only to work within your individual area of responsibility. Being a member of the corporate export compliance also means that you have to interact with all disciplines and areas within the company as well as different authorities world wide (directly or indirectly).
Today's demands
The position requires the ability to grasp complex laws and regulations and convert legal requirements to easily understandable steering documents. You are good at implementing legal restrictions in an efficent way yet supporting the business. You do combine strategic thinking with operational actions and have the ability to deduce and convey complex messages in a simple way.
Strong business understanding, customer focus and high degree of integrity as well as understanding of, and ability to, work in an international environment is also desired. It’s beneficial if you have documented experience from one or some of the following
* Certified export control manager with many years work experience
* Lead auditor training and work experience
* Information security training and work experience
It’s desired that you have many years of hands on work experience within one or some of the areas mentioned above.
It’s required that you have legal, economic, engineering university degree or similar working experience and a proven ability to perform difficult work tasks independently and in teams. You are fluent in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing.
In your role you will be required to travel , national and internationally, from time to time thus driving license is required.
