In Group Trucks Technology (GTT) Complete Vehicle, we can offer you a highly challenging position with a great purpose and impact on Volvo Group.
Complete Vehicle is a global function within GTT with employees in the areas of Volvo Group design (VGD), Product builds of prototypes (PB), Features Verification & Validation (FVV) and Aftermarket technology (AMT). CV SWE function is responsible for FVV and PB areas and we are on an exciting change journey with focus on quality, truck performance and maximizing the output through cadence in testing activities.
We are now looking for the Director Facilities, Test cells and Testing Technology function in Göteborg reporting to the Vice President of CV SWE.
In this position, you will lead and manage a team of highly skilled Test Engineers, Rig Developers and Specialists whose primary mission is to develop Complete Vehicle testing with focus on Swe and optimizing test footprint between all CV test sites!

Qualifications:
Minimum Master’s degree in an Engineering or technical discipline is required.
15+ years of Product Development experience in the transportation industry
Experience working with testing, data collection and post-processing, instrumentation.
Leading leader experience
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Excellent in team development and interest in how each person can contribute to the team.
True interest in our products and preferably commercial driver license for truck and trailer

Key responsibility
As Director Facilities, Test cells and Testing Technology you will lead the development of future Complete Vehicle Rigs and Facilities in CV with the target to meet the new demands of verification of the new technologies. We expect you to be knowledgeable and experienced in building effective teams as well as having a strong delivery mind set. You have the customer in focus and high level of integrity and autonomy. You will lead the following areas for GTT and Complete Vehicle – respecting budget, delivery time & quality:
Lead the new and needed investments of Facilities and Rigs for Complete Vehicle Sweden
Campus Lundby responsible with aim to cover the complete GTT technology (rig/facility/test track) footprint
Drive and Coordinate the Global CV Site investment Roadmap for optimizing the rig/facility/test track footprint
High end, quality assured Testing Technology

You will actively work with all parts of the GTT organization as well as VGRE and external companies to address complex technical challenges.
