Arbetsbeskrivning
Do you want to play a central role in creating value and efficiency in our core processes? Do you want to help strengthen an area of the business our employees have prioritized? At Seco Tools we’re now looking for a Director for Business Excellence to join us. We’re a people company in the machining business – characterized by a genuine interest in our customers’ success, an inclusive family spirit and personal commitment. We welcome you to an industry that’s constantly evolving and going through major changes – an exciting setting to be a part of to say the least.
About the job
In this position, you lead the work to improve our operating model – aiming to increase the efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility of our processes, organizational structures and systems. By working closely together with key stakeholders in the organization and with a strong customer and sustainability focus, you define improvement areas, drive and support implementation of improvement activities across the whole organization. You particularly focus on ensuring clarity and alignment in the interfaces between processes and functions. The outcome of the improvements should ultimately lead to improved financial performance as well as customer and employee satisfaction.
Included in your area of responsibility:
Coordinate an internal network of Process Owners and Process Improvers.
Improve consistency, alignment and transparency in and across Seco's core processes.
Establish a data driven and fact-based way of tracking value creation and efficiency in all Seco's core processes.
Drive improvement initiatives to improve processes, structures and ways of working.
Collaborate with key stakeholders in Compliance, Sustainability and Customer Experience to ensure alignment and perspectives are taken into account when driving improvements.
Maintain, share knowledge and coach on best practice methods.
Support internal and external audits and M&A integration activities.
We offer a flexible working location, although you’re preferably based at any of our Seco Tools sites in Europe.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a relevant academic degree and background in Change Management, as well as process and business development. Previous experience within a large company and an understanding of the manufacturing industry is valuable, and you’re eager to learn about our market and the opportunities and challenges we’re facing. We operate worldwide, and this calls for an open mind and cultural awareness, as well as excellent communication skills in English.
You’re analytical and structured with an eye for details and can zoom in and out to find a common thread in various processes – always keeping in mind how we work and see things from our customers' perspective. You’re a true networker and collaborator, someone who embraces open communication, strong relationships, and inclusive teamwork. If you also have a passion for development and an ambitious drive to reach results, you will love this role!
