Director Global Business Development

About the position
In your position as a Director Global Business Development for Customization Technologies you are responsible for developing, implementing and turning business based on our strategic road map. You will secure the implementation and tracking of the key initiatives within the business plan, to ensure long-term, sustainable business relations with customers and manufacturers in key industries.

 This successful new colleague will drive, lead and be responsible for delivering projects and meet key objectives related to our customer's additional value-add offerings and services, as part of the overarching growth strategy.

In this role you will support the Product Area President to manage the M&A pipeline and provide analysis and investigation of target companies. The Director Global Business Development will report to the President of the Product Area Customization Technologies, and will work close together with internal stakeholders implementing business objectives in targeted industrial sectors.

Other main responsibilities will be:


• Turning the strategic direction into business plan content, including growth plans, objectives, priorities and profitability.
• Driving projects which supports the overall growth strategy.
• Building relationships and analysing potential viability of key accounts & OEMs.
• Unearthing merger & acquisition opportunities that supports the growth strategy and business plans.
• Delivering updated market reporting and achievements in alignment with the strategic agenda, business planning and key objectives.
• Driving market analysis, accounting for variables that influence volume demands and business partnerships.
• Supporting in creating of strategic objectives and goals to penetrate target markets.

This position is located in Europe. Preferred countries for location are Sweden or Germany, but other possibilities can be up for discussion depending on the candidate's location. Home office might be an option. 

Your profile
We are looking for you that have a global network within the Additive Manufacturing community and OEM´s, as well as experience within targeted industrial segments. You have a relevant university degree in engineering, business administration or related field, and at least 5 years of relevant experience from the market using AM–processes.

The successful candidate has competence in networking and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers. You are ambitious and both team- and result-oriented. We expect you to have exceptional communication and leadership skills, as well as excellent time-management and presentation skills.
