We are looking for the right person to lead Professional Services Business Consulting, Airline Operations business within Digital Aviation. The position is based at our office in Gothenburg, Sweden. As the responsibility is global business travels are required.

Summary:

This position will lead Professional Services Business Consulting Airline Operations business within Digital Aviation. Responsibilites include; to create, implement, recruit and lead the new organization's efforts regarding pre-sales technical support of Digital Aviation Crew Solutions. Responsible for providing executive level crew-related pre-sales and technical assist to airlines and related aviation companies. Will provide fee-based operations management consulting to airlines in the crew operations domain including creating the strategic direction, go-to market plan, operating model, organization models, and customer engagement approach to position the Crew Practice for successful and sustainable revenue and earnings that can help offset crew-related pre-sales and technical assist costs.

Essential Responsibilities:

-Execution: Responsible for pre-sales technical sales support and crew-related operations management consulting.

-Strategy: Develop vision, mission, strategies, tactics and organizational structure that support the broader business objectives and goals of Digital Aviation and key stakeholder groups.

-Organization: Coach, counsel, mentor and provide developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field of study with 15 or more years of progressive sales and service or business development experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree (MBA) is preferred with 10 or more years of progressive sales and service or business development experience. International business experience required. 5 or more years of aviation industry experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

-Ability to accomplish results through subordinate managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of assigned areas. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement that values open and honest communication.

-Develops strategic plans and objectives for the assigned unit or department.

-Interacts internally and externally with senior level management and/or major customers, requiring negotiation of critical matters. Has an impact on company-wide initiatives and goals.
