We are in the process of expanding the responsibility for the Project Management Office to lead projects and having Project Managers at multi-sites (Europe & US). Our projects include mechanical, electronics and software engineering. Being in the MedTech environment many of our processes are governed by regulations and have a strong focus on risk assessment.
The successful candidate will have a strong professional background and demonstrate teamwork, drive deliverables, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to excellence, learning, and growth.
Your Role: As Director of PMO you will lead and coach the project managers in the team to deliver our product development projects according to agreement (time, finance, scope). You will continuously develop our project model and make sure it is global and according to MedTech requirements. You will also be responsible for visualizing the project portfolio as well as controlling resources, project costs and investments together with line managers, project managers and the R&D Controller.
You will be a part of a global management team with colleagues in Sweden and US.
Qualifications: We assume that you have acquired leadership and collaboration skills and have experience from both strategic and operational work. You have:
An academic degree, preferably Civ ing (SE) or MSc in Engineering • Experience as a project manager of product development projects • Experience from leading a PMO • Waterfall project model knowledge • Process development knowledge • Fluent written and spoken English
It is a big bonus if you also have experience from working in an international setting with multi-site MedTech development.
