This is us – Charging and Infrastructure Solution - C&IS
C&IS is a function within Volvo Energy. We develop Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) / Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) C&IS offering in conjunction with Business Areas and partners (for infrastructure OEM-agnostic). We work by lobbying and advocacy, legislation monitoring, partnerships and associations to create and accelerate industry standardization and roll-out.
We identify and extract public funding and subsidies across applicable markets and regions. We create new business offer opportunities as well as value propositions together with our Volvo Group colleagues and partners. We jointly simplify the electrification transformation for our customers and society and accelerate the journey towards 100% fossil free. In doing so, we will support Volvo Group’s sustainability.
What are we looking for in this specific role?

Main responsibilities and activities:
* Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organization - you will represent our brands and be our partners’ liaison internal contact.
* Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management.
* Negotiate and finalize deals in accordance with company’s contract guidelines and policies.
* Research partners, identify key players and generate interest in Public C&IS from a global perspective.
* Identify and source partnership opportunities.
* Track regional/local legislation and anticipate strategic impact.
* Drive with the public policy team to manage public incentives availability and applications.
* Drive Strategic investigations and own the country strategic framework.
To be successful in this role, it requires proactive, excellent stakeholder management skills, great negotiation skills, efficient communication, and ability to interact and influence at all levels. You understand what information should be provided when, to whom and how to package it. You have a broad internal network and bring people together in a very quick, natural, and seamless way.
You have a natural ability to find focus and make correct and timely judgements in a complex environment. You will work closely with our team, VG colleagues and industry leaders in the segment of Public C&IS.

Qualifications likely required to be successful:
* University degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, IT, business administration or equivalent
* Significant experience in business development
* Significant experience in C&I
* Excellent stakeholder management
* Excellent in establishing internal as well as external long-term partnerships.
* Excellent knowledge in building networks and leveraging intrapreneurial skills in large, cross-functional organizations.
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
