At Business Area Technologies and New Businesses (BTEB) we are working on answering the question what’s next, for us and for Ericsson. We do this by incubating and accelerating growth across Telco, Wireless Enterprise and Global Network Platform.
For us in IoT, the answer to what’s next is building and leveraging cellular IoT connectivity to accelerate enterprise business and speed up their digitalization journey.
We at the IoT Product Strategy & Governance team are looking for someone to drive our IoT products & services strategy. With an ambition to capture the cellular IoT growth in the market and make cellular connectivity easy to use for the Enterprises – helping them drive their digital transformation.
This is a superb opportunity to be a part of a team that is driving new & emerging business for Ericsson. Since the position will work closely with stakeholders from both the US and Europe, we are looking for candidates based in one of those locations. You will need in-depth Enterprise IoT market understanding with solid experience in execution capabilities and offering strengths, needed to succeed in this market. You will be the enterprise voice in the team.

To create impact as our Director of IoT Technology & Strategy:
You will drive IoT products & services vision and strategic themes.
Understand practical IoT Market trends and insights for product lines & sales teams.
Create alignment between priorities, roadmap, and investments for IoT product & services.
Drive Innovation in our products & services.
Support business & financial planning for IoT portfolio



You will bring:
A solid grasp of the cellular IoT domain.
Demonstrable experience in IoT Device Ecosystem with good understanding of opportunities, barriers to cross and possible solutions.
Experience with crafting a groundbreaking IoT strategy in an Enterprise digital transformation program - either working directly for an Enterprise or working on behalf of a technology partner.
Innovative streak with the ability to come up with ambitious ideas, but also good portfolio management experience to evaluate & determine right alternatives.
Experience in partnership with Hyperscalers, Device & Module vendors.
Comfortable working with SaaS model.
Previous leadership experience is very positive for this role.
