Director of Construction
We are recruiting four Directors of Construction, which all will be reporting to the the VP of Construction. The Director of Construction will manage and oversee the construction activities of the H2GS Boden project, and coordinate site activities to ensure that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in phase with the project goals and objectives. The Director of Construction and related team will coordinate with the engineering firms and manage construction firms assigned scope needed to construct the Boden project.
Requirements:
Making a safe work environment a priority.
Substantial previous working experience overseeing and directing major capital construction projects in the heavy industry - from conception to completion.
Experience in overseeing all onsite and offsite construction activities in major capital projects to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Approx. 7 years of recent experience managing new major capital construction projects.
Strong experience related to new facility turnover activities such as inspection, testing, safety checks, and final operational verification.

Interpersonal skills:
Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
Very strong ability to cooperate, collaborate, and work effectively in a complex multi-team environment with sometimes competing views and overlapping responsibilities.
Strong organizational leadership skills.
Advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal and external entities.
