Your tasks

As Director of Industrial Competence Development at Scania Academy, you will lead an organization consisting of two teams with two group managers reporting to you. One of the team consists of Technical Trainers and their mission is to support Production & Logistics within SPS methods (Scania Production System), deliver technical training within the field of product knowledge and the Scania Way and also train the trainer concept. The other team consist of learning consultants and a project manager who in partnership with our customer develops business learning solutions and supports in competence-enhancing initiatives.

Your assignment will be to continuously develop your teams and their assignments and with a strategic mindset turn strategy into execution. Communication about learning throughout the organization in various forums will be a natural ingredient of your daily work, so communication skills are essential as well as fluency in English. As head of the teams and member of the Scania Academy Management Team, you will be expected to actively drive discussions and decisions about Scania’s learning strategy and also to understand new techniques such as advanced analytics, and have the ability to transform that into value.

Your profile
