At Cibes Lift Group, our strength is the efficiency with which we design and manufacture high quality modular lifts. To help us continue our growth, we are looking for an experienced business-oriented Director of Manufacturing for our skilled management team. You will work closely with our other executives to lay out strategy and develop long-term plans that leads to new levels of productivity and increased profitability at Cibes Lift Group.
In your role, you, together with your colleagues in the other countries, will have a fantastic opportunity to be part of and drive the expansion and development journey that is now taking place within Cibes Lift Group. As Director of Manufacturing Sweden, you will operate at both operational and strategic levels.
You are overall responsible for our quality management and leading our product unit at our global
HQ with a total of 150 employees on site, with six directly reporting managers within Production, R&D, Product Quality Assurance, Product Unit Controlling and Supply Chain who also are a part of your management team.
Through your work with supply chain and strategic sourcing, you ensure efficient, quality- and cost-conscious production to continuously improve our products and profitability. You ensure that we work both safely and sustainably, and you have an overall work environment responsibility. The work can to some extent be done remotely, but you need to be on site a few times a month.
About you
You are relational and build trusting relationships both internally and externally with our customers and suppliers. As an ideal candidate, you have minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role in a manufacturing and supply chain work environment. You have documented experience from Lean manufacturing and process improvement preferably within manufacturing of electro-mechanical products, to create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.
You have superior negotiation skills in both internal and external settings and experience with budget and business plan development. You have excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success. Strong familiarity with technical drawings, manufacturing process documents, statistical process control and other industry standard tools is a must. You also have a strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM)
You are fluent in both spoken and written English. Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, (MBA), finance, management or engineering can be a plus but we can also see that you are self-taught through your experience in the field.
