DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Our customer, located in Skellefteå in the northern part of Sweden is a leading service company within it's field. They serve companies all around the world and offers high-technology products for industry and offers a complete range of development-, manufacturing- and outsourcing-services.


We are now recruiting an DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT


Main duties and responsibilities:
Your main duties is to lead and develop the department to set targets and to ensure that expertise is available for its future product development. 

You will be part of the management team and have overall responsibility for the development work.

Your mission also includes participation in work with finance, HR & offers.

You will be directly responsible for about 25 people divided into teams of which one-third of these are at a distance.


Who are you?
To succeed in the role as Director of product development, we believe that you have an education as engineer or equivalent and experience of working
with development of an industrial and technology-intensive environment. As a person, you have the ability to create a creative and dynamic environment
and you are stimulated by leading and developing people to the dedication, innovation and accountability. We attach great importance to your social
and communication skills to drive the business forward.

You work or have worked in a technology product company (development & production) and thus got you experience in lead time, validation, prototyping
and risk elimination.

You probably had roles such as tex Development manager, Consulting manager, Project Manager, CEO, CTO, Technical Director, Department Head or Director of Marketing.

Good English skills in speaking and writing is a requirement. If you currently do not master the Swedish language, you must have the ambition to learn
this.
