As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and management of Mentimeter’s talent acquisition efforts and team. Together with VP People, you will develop and drive initiatives that increase awareness of Mentimeter as an extraordinary workplace. You will play a vital role in making sure Mentimeter continues to be a great place to work, by helping us to recruit people who thrive in an inclusive, fun, collaborative and challenging company culture.

Responsibilities:
High-level strategic work to make sure we attract, evaluate and hire according to our goals and have an efficient and successful recruitment process and candidate experience.
Long term organization (18 months) and recruitment planning with department leads. Prepare and review the annual recruitment budget.
Lead the Talent Acquisition Team, including team-lead, planning for growth and future roles, overall budget responsibilities and planning of resources, time and responsibilities within the team.
Build awareness for Mentimeter as a workplace through different channels and partnerships*.
Line Manager Responsibilities.
Build relationships and recruitment pipelines for senior and management roles.
Be an external spokesperson for our culture and Mentimeter as a workplace.

*Do we mean Employer Branding? Yes. And no. For us, it is vital to never invent initiatives with the purpose to “brand” our workplace or our employees. Instead, we focus on being culture driven and doing great stuff, and that is a collaborative effort led by our VP People. However, we also need to make sure we also communicate what we do, and act on interesting requests from journalists, tech-summits and partners. This area of work will be under your responsibilities.
Requirements:
5+ years of managerial experience in a high-pace recruiting environment, preferably within the startup/tech industry.
Experience working with implementing Talent Acquisition strategies, processes and tools in a culture driven context.
Have a proven track record in leading and developing teams and individuals and creating a high performing, engaging and long term sustainable culture. An ability to listen to, inspire and empower your team.
You can demonstrate a history of recruiting for different kinds of positions and roles, up to executive level.
You have knowledge and passion for inclusion, equality and diversity.
You have financial and business acumen and negotiation skills.
You can demonstrate project management and stakeholder management skills.
You possess the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, working closely with senior leaders regularly.
Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication/presentation skills. You don’t have to know Swedish (we are an English-first organisation, everyday work is in English and the Mentimeter team currently boasts over 20 different nationalities!)

You will be part of our growing Talent Acquisition team that when you start, will consist of four Talent Acquisition Specialists. You will work closely with, and report to, VP People. The location of the position is our Stockholm HQ.
