Volvo Car Pension Management AB (VCPM) is a small specialized team within Global Finance. You act in cooperation with colleagues world-wide where you and your team provide expertise and guidance within the pension asset and liability area. At Finance, you can push your own professional skills and drive change. 
What you will do
You will, together with the team, be responsible for driving a transparent, consistent and harmonized approach to pension asset and liability management across the Group.  You will investigate, analyze and recommend ways forward to secure our capability to meet pension liabilities globally. 
In the services provided by VCPM to group pension trusts and local finance departments you will together with the rest of the team support in developing investment strategies and synchronize the implementation of set strategies. You will also take part in supplying local trustees, investment managers and local sponsors with accessible information and strategic input to guidelines about for example sustainability. In this role you will interact and cooperate with stakeholders in several different areas, both internal and external.
We believe that you have an academic degree in economics, business administration or finance.
Competence and experience are important, but personality and potential are key
We are looking for an ambitious, reliable person with solid project management skills who keep things moving forward and get tasks done. We believe that you may already have knowledge about and/or a strong interest in learning more about the pension assets and liability management field. Maybe you have previous experience from the management of corporate pension trusts, from a group accounting role and/or know how different pension benefits can affect the balance sheet as well as P&L and cash flow. An understanding of and interest in asset management matters in general is also beneficial. We also believe that you have an understanding of the sustainability/ESG aspects of corporate pension asset management. 

As a person you are people orientated and like to cooperate with other teams, both in Sweden and globally. You are able describe complex matters and structures in an accessible way to different audiences. A high level of integrity combined with a positive attitude is also necessary to succeed in this role.
