At the Global Training Department we create technical training material used by our trainers all around the world in order to ensure our dealers ability to offer the very best support to our customers.
The Global Training Department
The Global Training Department is responsible for the development and production of technical training material, training rigs, assessments and other media that will support the competence development for our regional technical trainers and technicians.
We work both specialized in product areas and together as a team to develop the highest quality training programs for our wide variety of product offerings, both hard and soft. Needs assessments performed on both new launched products as well as on existing product offerings help insure technician competency to reach the highest levels possible. We work close together with all relevant departments internally as well as with our regions and market areas to insure we get the information we need to support the development of an excellent training program.
We develop e-Learning, video material and instructor led training courses as a blended learning approach, as well as a periodic global competency assessment program. We manage the entire training program through our learning management system - Navigator. The tight integration to our more than 28,000 users and business partners allows us to target the right training to the correct organizations and users.
Role Description
In this role, you will work with the training team to deliver on the strategic objectives and KPI targets for development of our business partner’s technical competence, as well as management of the Navigator system for delivery and tracking.
This also includes the specification and ordering of engines, drives, tools and other equipment as required for training development and support for the regions to deliver training to a global standard. The position reports to the VP Parts & Service Engineering, Training & Information in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Key activities and responsibilities
Develop learning objectives and to deliver of training material according to the agreed time plans
Planning and hosting Train the Trainer events both face-to-face and virtual for our regional and market unit trainers globally.
Support and development of the training team, currently 6 persons.
Maintain an inventory of the training equipment purchased and shipped to the regions or kept locally for business control tracking
