Director Project Scheduling
We are hiring a Director Project Scheduling for our construction site in Boden. As the Director Project Scheduling you will work together with technical experts, project managers, engineering firms, and construction firms to perform project schedulie development and updating activities, and provide schedule and coordination related guidance to make sure that all the projects are carried out in a timely manner, within budget, and with excellent quality. You will be responsible for scheduling, planning, and monitoring the execution of project timelines.
The H2GS Project consists of:
760 MW H2 production facility consisting of several types of hydrogen production technologies
2.1MM MT DRI Production Facility
2.5MM MT Steelmaking and CSP Facility
Various Cold Finishing Facilities
Plant Power Distribution Grid
Plant Infrastructure and Water Systems
Responsibilities:
Planning, creating and monitoring project schedules. Consulting with technical experts and project managers to set up assignments, tasks and subtasks.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
Monitoring project timelines and deadlines, including coordination with internal department and external stakeholders and identifying potential delays and facilitating intervention in a timeous manner.
Keeping stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.
Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records.

Requirements:
Substantial previous working experience in planning, creating and monitoring project schedules and communication with all stakeholders in major capital projects in the metals industry, with an emphasis on mini-mill facilities.
Extensive experience in working with construction engineers and field contractors on projects in steel, power, paper, or other similar industry.
Must be knowledgeable about industry best practices and change management.
Approx. 10 years of recent experience from schedule planning and management in mini-mill steel plants.
In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the metals industry.
Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
Ability to recruit and build a strong team.
Very strong skills with Primavera software.

Interpersonal skills:
Strong management and interpersonal/communication skills.
Very strong ability to cooperate, collaborate, and work effectively in a complex multi-team environment with sometimes competing views and overlapping responsibilities.
Strong organizational leadership skills.
Advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal and external entities.
