Fresenius Kabi Sweden operations are now looking for an experienced and business-oriented Director Quality Assurance with a genuine interest in coaching leadership and continues improvements.

You will:

- Join a global market leader with a most comprehensive product portfolio for core therapeutic areas, such as parenteral nutrition, IV drugs, additives and raw materials.

- Medium term, there might be opportunities in an international context streamlining QA processes and standards through the production sites in e.g. Austria, Norway and Portugal.

Director Quality Assurance is responsible for

The Director Quality Assurance Sweden will be overall accountable for the quality of all products and materials that are released at sites. The position holder provides leadership to an organization of approximately 70 staff located in Uppsala and Brunna. The Director Quality Assurance reports directly into the VP Quality Assurance, with a dotted reporting line to the Plant Manager Sweden. The position is based in Uppsala.

The responsibilities can be divided into three main areas:

- Execution, maintenance, adherence and improvement of the Site and Global Quality Management System

- Assurance that all products released are manufactured in compliance with the Quality Management System, registration dossiers and GMP requirements

- All aspects of financials and personnel within the Quality Assurance function

Competence

You need to have a relevant university degree preferably in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Microbiology
Several years of documented leadership experience and skills including being the manager of managers
Extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Quality Management Systems.
Experience in working in a highly-matrix organization
Leadership experience working with a management system according to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 
Be fluent in a Scandinavian language and excellent command of the English language, written and oral
