Director Quality at Plastal, Gothenburg

Are you ready to join Plastal in this new position with responsibility to ensure the recognition for Plastal as a premier supplier to premium European automotive OEMs?

The job:
You are expected to bring front edge competence to the organization and will lead Plastal’s Quality Management System and initiate and foster improvements on all processes and systems within Quality and Environment.
You will be in fruitful interaction with customers and suppliers, driving product quality to secure high levels of customer satisfaction as well as meeting corporate targets, by developing methods and processes that are proactive, effective and sufficient. This role has indirect leadership for quality managers in each plant and you will report to Vice President Operations & Quality Europe. You will be based in the Gothenburg office and there will be travelling on a regular basis.

Qualifications, Experience & Personality:

• At least 10 years progressive experience from senior management positions in quality within the automotive industry
• A Bachelor or Master education in Engineering
• Solid knowledge and experience from automotive OEMs or from the supplier industry in an international environment (both in- and outside Scandinavia)
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and influential skills with internal stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Operations) as well as external customers
• Strong understanding of all processes within the production and automotive quality standards
• Proven experience of leading improvement initiatives in organization
• Driven, high energy level in combination with a down to earth approach
• Excellent communication skills in English as a working language
