Are you interested to lead one of the most important transformation initiatives in Tetra Pak shaping and implementing our Remote Support Services strategy in line with customers’ needs?
We are looking for a Remote Support Operations Director in our Services organization who will define the desired state, manage the operations and infrastructure and develop the capabilities needed to provide a world class remote support service at global level. Our Service operations organization drives best in class Part Supply Chain, Maintenance operations and Services delivery including remote support operations.
In this role you will report to VP Services Operations and will work closely with Global Services Management team, Cluster Services organization and Global Information Management supporting the local teams to respond to the customer needs within area of Remote Service. You will have amazing opportunities to network and work with senior leadership in the central, cluster and market organization.
In this role you will lead a team of 8 people handling tools methods and capabilities related to remote support operations.
This position is based in Lund, Sweden and will require travel around 25% of your time.
What you will do
As a Remote Support Operations Director, we expect you to:
Define desired state for Remote Support Services based on the cluster needs, value proposition & business model proposed by Product and Portfolio Management and requirements of the Field Operations Optimisation strategic programme
Set the infrastructure requirements to provide a world class remote support service (connectivity, applications, IA learning machines, etc.) and in co-operation with Global Information Management lead the development of the scalable solution.
Defining global toles and responsibilities related to Remote Support Operations
Lead development of remote support processes and guidelines to staff, operate and monitor effectiveness of the remote support service (quality and added value to the customers)
Together with the clusters implement the operational model and its future updates, including internal and 3rd parties integration into same platform
Lead the remote support networks for internal and external remote services
Establish the continuous improvement methods towards a cost-effective operational model based on state-of-the-art technologies, combined with human experience
Proactively monitor connectivity and articulate “always on” type of support to provide the proper value to customers (via proper resources or clarifying roles and responsibilities and service level agreements)
Who you are?
Proven people leader experience in an international organisation, able to work across borders
Minimum 5 years of experience working with Field Service operations and technical support preferably within Market or Cluster
Proven ability to translate strategic ideas into practical implementation
Good strategic thinking combined with interests in new technologies supporting productive ways of working
Experience in driving the implementation of remote support solutions would be an asset
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business Administration
Excellent written and spoken English
